My passion for discovering visual relationships in nature led me to focus on the part of nature I experience most often, food. Preparing for this project, I researched flavor harmonies – food combinations that sing. In the same fashion that I mix fresh produce, I layer medium format focus-stacked photographs of two primary ingredients. The individual photographs blend together as visualizations of deliciousness emerge. My work invites the viewer to relish creativity in nourishment.
